Marks Balette Young & Moss is pleased to announce that Juliette Symons has been named Partner, effective January 1, 2026.
Juliette graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2009 and earned her law degree cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2013. She leads the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky, office and concentrates her practice on nursing home abuse and wrongful death. She is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Colorado.
With over a decade of experience, Juliette’s track record demonstrates not only success for individual clients but also a dedication to improving the quality of care for nursing home residents and protecting public health and safety across various consumer protection matters. Before joining Marks Balette Young & Moss, Juliette represented hospitals, physicians, and other medical professionals as an insurance defense attorney in Lexington, Kentucky. Now, she uses this valuable experience to advocate for injury and neglect victims. In addition to representing victims of nursing home neglect and abuse, Juliette devotes her time to nonprofit organizations that advocate for nursing home residents, public disclosure of information, and supporting nursing home reform.
