WHAT WE DO
Fighting for justice and improving lives...
We fight for justice because we believe in changing the industry through real results. Our work has led to major changes in nursing home operations. Because we are passionate about what we do, we limit our casework to focus on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, disastrous loss, and class action cases involving understaffing.
Our Areas of Practice
HOW WE DO IT
Making Sure You Get the
Justice You Deserve
We believe that each case we work on deserves our undivided attention. To make sure we are a good fit for your case, we will schedule you for an initial consultation.
Our free consultation allows you to learn how we work and what our firm can offer you. It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and set expectations about what you hope to achieve with the harm against your loved one.
Our Process
Case Research and Feasibility
After the Initial Consultation, we will begin investigating your case in detail. We will gather medical records, the facility's staffing history, care workload, and other evidence. Our expert team of doctors and nurses will then review your case to determine whether it has merit and can be prosecuted.
Case Acceptance
Once your case has been accepted by the firm it will be filed with the court. You will be able to discuss directly with the attorneys of your case about the timelines and the likely challenges that lie ahead.
Case Litigation
This phase will involve our firm directly interacting with the court and Defense attorneys representing the defendants against whom we are filing the lawsuit. The duration of this stage varies greatly from case to case and usually involves the discovery of critical documents and depositions of key witnesses. We will keep you informed of all changes and proceedings in the case.
Resolving Your Case
There are several options when it comes to resolving your case. Mediation is an option where the two parties come together and try to reach an agreement or settlement before going to trial. An agreement between both parties may be reached at any point in the case. If no settlement is reached, the case is set for trial.
The Hazards of Procrastination
Every state has a statute that limits how long victims or their families have to file a lawsuit. If the lawsuit is not filed on time, the victims and their families lose the right to sue.
Did you know that overlooking signs of abuse and neglect in nursing homes and assisted living facilities perpetuates severe risks?
Are you ready to break this cycle and seek the justice your loved one deserves? Don’t delay because the statute of limitations clock is ticking.
